Rothenburg ob the Tauber

Today is Tuesday and we arrived in Wurzburg to be driven to Rothenburg, a declared world heritage site. It is a walled medieval town with a Christmas museum and shop. Best example of a medieval town in the world apparently. Pretty special with lots of beautiful churches (ABCs) and quaint buildings. Great views and scenery. Some shops specialize in teddies while others specialize in medieval stuff like knights. Sounds strangely familiar.

Also some photos of the medieval dinner and our waiter, Georgi. We have learnt to communicate at lunch time when we are only meant to have one free drink. We have our own special code ie white tea means another glass of white wine while red tea or hot chocolate means red wine. Confusing as one lunch, hot chocolate actually meant hot chocolate. Bit of a surprise. ordering coffee can be difficult. "I mean a real coffee" etc.
