Melk- 'in the Abbey'

After a morning in Durnstein, we cruised to Melk which is famous for its Benedictine Abbey. Beautiful as you will see from photos.
Had to walk up 65 steps. The gentle walkers group took alternative route.

We actually chose to be in the 'active' group which went the steeper route faster. (among this company of senior citizens, holding our own still. There is even a group doing bike tours. Not us)
Just for info, the oldest lady on the boat chooses the active group. Great.
