Vienna is my favourite city in the world, today.
Just a note about balcony or lack thereof. Our boat does not have the balcony for which we paid extra. Oh well said the cruise director. Take it up with the broker.
Back to Vienna and lots of photos from first day and a walking tour of main sights including Hapsburg palace or maybe hofgerg. St Stephen s cathedral is amazing.
Note: neither of us is in the pink group for 'slow walkers'. In this company of octogenarians, we are holding our own.
Lots of photos of Vienna plus one of Pauli eating the famous sacher torte,chocolate cake of the gods apparently. He loved it.
Also went to a hourigan at night to drink local wine and there was a piano accordion player who played tie me kangaroo Down after hearing our accent. He asked one of us to play but we politely declined

Great photos... And it looks so warm!! That's a shame about your balcony; I'm sure you'll get $ back though. It looks fine anyway.... Have fun...
Looks like you are having a wonderful time. Glad you are getting on so well with the cruise director they always have to have someone to use as a scapegoat. I think they pick on the young who have a sense of humour and can take it in there stride, it is a compliment we were always being teased for something at the evening talks.
