Bamburg: beer bratwurst and b

Today is Monday and cruised to Bamburg on the Mein-Danube canal. Bamburg is famous for its 3 Bs, one oh which we cannot remember due to the effect of the other two.
Speaking of beer, Bamburg is most famous for its smoked beer which tastes like ham. A beer that you could live on. Tastes disgusting according to one of us. We all got a free beer.
Bamburg is also where Levi Strauss was born and where Willy Messerschmitt grew up. Both important to Germany in their own way.
just a word on food and beverage on this cruise: copious amounts of both. Starting with the champagne breakfast, one never seems to stop drinking, I mean eating. (actually mainly one of us never seems to stop drinking.) And then the free tastings and other snacks. Thank goodness there is a gym.
